April 25 (Merrillville, In) – Just a night before their world championship showdown at the legendary Hammond Civic Center, undefeated NABC Lightweight World Champion “Merciless” Mary McGee (16-0, 10 KOs) and WBF Light Welterweight World Champion Kristy “Rose” Follmar (16-1, 9 KOs) glared into each other’s eyes for the last time at the official weigh-ins @ Langel’s Pizza before their “Date With Destiny.”

McGee, a former Gary Roosevelt High School student, and Follmar, a Hanover Central High School graduate, will square off for the vacant WBC International Super Lightweight World Championship and McGee’s world title in a Main Event that will bring the region to its foundation.

“This fight has me extremely excited and anyone who buys a ticket for this one will definitely get their money’s worth,” said Octavius James, C.E.O. of Octavius James’ One In A Million, Inc. “Just by the way that they stared at each other during the weigh-in, you know that it’s going to be a war out there.”

McGee stepped on the scales with the crowd at full attention weighing in at a trim 133 pounds, while Follmar looked equally as impressive at 133 pounds.
